Accessing the web interface

The Scrutinizer web interface is accessed by pointing any supported browser to https://SCRUTINIZER_ADDRESS/ui/, after the server has been deployed and set up. To use the Classic UI, use the URL https://SCRUTINIZER_ADDRESS/oldui/ instead.

The preferred UI can also be set from within the web interface under the user menu in the upper-right corner of the page.

The following options are also available from the user menu:

  • User Settings: Opens the settings tray for the currently logged-in user account.

  • Active Collection: Displays the name of the currently set active collection.

  • License Details: Scrutinizer: Displays current license information for Scrutinizer.

  • License Details: Replicator: Displays current license information for Replicator, if applicable.

  • Contact Support: Opens the Plixer support page in a new browser tab.

  • Join the beta program: Opens the Plixer beta program registration page in a new browser tab.

  • Use classic view: Switches the interface to the Classic UI. To switch back, use the URL https://SCRUTINIZER_ADDRESS/ui/ or the equivalent option available in the Classic UI.

  • Log out: Ends the current session and returns to the login page. The current Scrutinizer version number is displayed below this option.

Hint

The Active Collection menu always reflects whichever collection is currently set as active. To change it, navigate to Investigate > Collections, select the desired collection, and set it as active. The user menu will update to display the newly active collection.
