Plixer#

Endpoint Analytics#

The Admin > Plixer > Endpoint Analytics page is used to configure and enable/disable Endpoint Analytics integration in Scrutinizer.

Hint

The following details must be entered:

Host

IP address or configured hostname of the Endpoint Analytics appliance

Password

Password to use for authentication with Endpoint Analytics

Port

Port to use to communicate with Endpoint Analytics

Protocol

Protocol to use to communicate with Endpoint Analytics

Username

Username to use for authentication with Endpoint Analytics

After the fields have been filled in with the required information, click Save.

Hint

Click the Defaults button to revert to the default settings used by Endpoint Analytics deployments.


FlowPro licensing#

The Admin > Plixer > FlowPro Licensing page is used to add or update a FlowPro license key before probes/appliances are deployed. An active license key can be obtained by contacting Plixer Technical Support and providing them with the Machine ID displayed on this page.

This page displays the following details after a license key has been registered:

  • Product/license type

  • License status

  • Remaining validity on current license

  • Customer ID

  • Machine ID

  • Number of FlowPro probes supported by the license

  • Number of FlowPro probes currently deployed

  • Number of FlowPro probes currently registered

To add or update a license key, paste the new key into the License Key field, and then click Save.

Replicator licensing#

The Admin > Plixer > Replicator Licensing page is used to add or update a Replicator license key before appliances are deployed. An active license key can be obtained by contacting Plixer Technical Support and providing them with the Machine ID displayed on this page.

This page displays the following details after a license key has been registered:

  • Product/license type

  • License status

  • Remaining validity on current license

  • Customer ID

  • Machine ID

  • Number of Replicator appliances supported by the license

  • Number of Replicator appliances currently deployed

  • Number of Replicator appliances currently registered

To add or update a license key, paste the new key into the License Key field, and then click Save.

Scrutinizer licensing#

The Admin > Plixer > Scrutinizer Licensing page is used to add or update the Plixer One or Scrutinizer license key after the system has been deployed and set up. An active license key can be obtained by contacting Plixer Technical Support and providing them with the Machine ID displayed on this page.

This page displays the following details after a license key has been registered:

  • Product/license type

  • License status

  • Remaining time on current license

  • Customer ID

  • Machine ID

  • Number of Scrutinizer servers/appliances supported by the license

  • Number of reporting servers supported by the license

  • Number of exporters supported by the license

  • Number of servers (reporter + remote collectors) currently deployed

  • Number of exporters currently enabled

  • Current license key

To add or update a license key, paste the new key into the License Key field, and then click Save.
