Creating a new mapΒΆ

To create a new Network Map, navigate to Monitor > Network Maps in the Plixer Scrutinizer web interface and follow these steps:

  1. Click New Map and select whether to create a Spatial Map or a Geographical Map.

  2. Enter a name for the map and click Next.

  4. Verify that the correct Map Objects have been added and then click Next.

  5. Use the dropdowns to define the details of the Connection:

    1. From/To: Select the objects to link.

    2. Type: Select the type of Connection to create.

    3. Color: Select a color for the Connection.

    4. Label: Enter a label for the Connection (optional).

  6. Click Add Connection to save the Connection. Repeat the steps to configure additional Connections.
